Sri Prasanna Venkateshwara temple is a very famous temple in Madurai city. It is under the control of SourashtraSabha. Brahmodhsavam festival celebrated between the months of March and April is one of the biggest festivals in Madurai city. The important deities in this temple are Sri Natanagopalanayagi swamy, Sri Venkatasuri swamy, Sri Anjali Hanumar(12-1/2 feet height), Sri Lakshmi Hayakreevar(opp to Vedandha Desigar Deity) and Sri Pandurengan. This temple is a very important place in Sourashtran history. Two more deities are constructed in this temple recently, they are Vaishnava Vinayagar, Radha and Krishna made out of white marble. The famous Dasakali Amman temple is another important temple of the Sourashtra Community. It is situated at Chinnakadai Street near South Gate, Madurai. The Ramia,Puliyadi,Dimma,Easwari and Kutti families constructed this temple. This is the only temple which is built by Sourashtrans for Goddess Kali.

Paramakudi Sourashtra Sabha has built two temples in Paramakudi. They are Sri Sundararaja Perumal and Sri Chandrasekara Swamy temple. The Chitra festival of Sri Sundararaja Perumal temple is the biggest festival celebrated in Ramanthapuram district. Sourashtrans never built temples for Lord Shiva and Goddess Mariamman.

Varadharaja Perumal Temple which is under the control of Sourashtra Brahmin is situated in Emaneswaram. Another important deity in this temple is Goddess Sri Perundevi. The two Vishnu temples situated on the banks of the river Vaigai is the speciality of Paramakudi town.

Sri Navaneetha Krishnaswamy temple in Salem is under the control of Sourashtra Viprakula Sabha. Thenkalai Sri Soundararaja Perumal temple is situated at the Ammapettai Main Road and the Vadakalai Varadharaja Perumal temple are common temples to the Sourashtrian Community in Salem. In Sevvaipettai, the beautiful Sri Pandu Renganathar temple is also under the control of Sourashtra Sabha.

In Dindigul (Nagalnagar) Thenkalai Sri Varadharaja Perumal temple belongs to the Sourashtra Sabha. In town, Reunkambal temple is an ancient one here. This has immense property. They also take part in Mariamman festival.

In Palayamkottai, Vadakalai Sri Krishna temple is an important temple. Sri Ramaswamy temple, Thenkalai Vadakalai Perumal temples are situated in the same area. Sri Kothandaramaswamy temple is a notable temple in Kottar near Nagercoil. In Veeravanalloor, Sri Renganatha temple is managed wonderfully by the Sourashtra Sabha.

In Thiruchirappalli, Sri Senthamarai Kannan Sannathi was small in structure. But maintenance work were carried out and the temple is beautified now. Many significant festivals has been carried out through Sourashtra Sabha. Sri Udayavar, Sri Vasudev Perumal Sannathi is dedicated to Sourashtra people. In Maanampuchavadi (Tanjore), Sri Navaneetha Krishnaswmay temple is being maintained by the Sourashtra Sabha. Sri Prasanna Venkateswara temple with its "Rajagopuram" is situated majestically in the Sivarayar garden. This temple is also dedicated to the people of Sourashtra.

Sri Prasanna Rajagopala Swamy Temple which has connections with Sri Venkata Ramanar and Sri Venkatasuri is a very old temple. It is the common temple for the Sourashtrians. It is situated in Ayyampettai. Sri Venkata Ramanar Bhagavadar Jeyanthi Ceremony is conducted in the Sangeetha Mahal which is opposite to this temple. The speciality of this temple is the Sculpture Car which is present there.

Kumbakonam |
The two famous historical temples in Kumbakonam, Sri Vedanarayana Perumal temple and Sri Varadharaja Perumal Temple are maintained by the Sourashtra Community for more than 200 years eventhough they are not constructed by the Sourashtrians. Sourashtrians living in Kumbakonam has formed an association called "Sourashtra Dharma Paripalana Committy" and are maintaining the temple very effectively and efficiently. The Navarathri(Dasara) festival is one of the important festival celebrated in this temple. The surprising news is that, the temples are not under the control of the Kumbakonam Sourashtra Sabha. Lord Brahma performed Ashwamega Yaga on the bank of River Hari and Sri Veda Narayanan appeared on that place. Deities of Lord Brahma with his wives are the speciality of this temple. The three Gods Sri Veda Narayanan, Sri Brahma and Sri Narasimhar can be worshipped at the same time, only in this temple.

Sri Godhanda Ramaswamy in Thirubuvanam, near to Kumbakonam is under the control of the Sourashtra Sabha which has celebrated golden jubliee. The main deities are Sree Seetha, Rama and Lakshman.

In Chennai, Sri Prasanna Venkateswara temple is situated in Choolai. It is under the control of Sourashtra Sabha. In 1997, the Sourashtra Guru ,Sri Natanagopala Nayagi Swamy's deity was constructed.
